Wus up with Wayne??? Real or Publicity Stunt….

On the evening of March 15, 2013 media reports/ rumors about the medical condition of YMCMB rapper Lil Wayne has caused a frenzy all over the web. TMZ is the main source that broke this story. Since this story has come out, members of the YMCMB camp, including his best friend and president of the label:  Mack Maine, have all denied that the situation is as bad as what TMZ is reporting. This is what they are reporting on www.tmz.com:

Lil Wayne is in ICU in critical condition after suffering yet another seizure, and we’re told it doesn’t look good … TMZ has learned.

We broke the story … the 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures.  He was released Wednesday but just hours later one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious.

Wayne was rushed to the hospital again, but this time he did not stabilize.  He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably.

We’re told Wayne is currently “unstable,” and has been placed in an induced coma.  He is breathing through tubes.

TMZ also went on to say that Wayne went on an alleged syrup binge after he was released on Wednesday. They have also stated that since he has been in the hospital this time, that doctors have had to pump his stomach a total of 3 times to get all the codeine out of his system…… BOOOOOOOOOY, I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY ON THIS ONE RIGHT HERE!!!!!
The world still doesn’t know if this story is as serious it is being reported to be or not. Leave it up to TMZ to be tacky enough to take pictures of the hospital. HOW RATCHETT IS THAT?!?!?!? We will simply have to wait and see how this story unfolds. I will say this though, these rappers need to chill out. Life is precious. Yes it is up to us to live it to the fullest but, come on now? SLOW DOWN, you are not invincible. MJ wasn’t even invincible and rightfully so, he was legendary. You see how he went down: STRAIGHT TRAGEDY. His fans, family, and children are still scared horribly from the details and drama surrounding his overdose.
On October 14, 2012 rapper Rick Ross was hospitalized after suffering from 2 seizures that same day. I’ll never understand these artist that publicly gamble with their lives to look cool.  The problem with this behavior is, a lot of these rappers are role models whether they want the responsibility of that or not. The younger generations idolize them and want to be like them. These young cats are strung out on Mollies and Lean. They are fascinated with the beautiful life that these artist “put on” living.  However, all that glitters isn’t gold.
I will say this… There is more to this story that isn’t coming out.  Could this be a huge publicity stunt?  When you think about it, Wayne was beginning to fall from grace. His highly anticipated “Dedication 4” mixtape dropped and the streets were not feeling it. Not to mention, the recent controversy behind his infamous Emmett Till line in Future’s “Karate Chop remix. It seemed like the rapper is overdue for a reinvention, publicity stunt, or something.  He just signed his daughter to YMCMB and people are awaiting to see what is going to happen with that.  Secondly, How do you explain this tweet that was sent out on March 16th from his account thanking everyone for their prayers and concerns. It’s still the 15th of March!!!! Granted California is on a different time zone…. 3 HOURS BEHIND EASTERN STANDARD TIME, THAT IS….
Something is WRONG with the Kool-aid here….
If this is real, I really wish him a speedy recovery.  However, if this is actually a publicity stunt that has crashed horribly as the above tweet seems to support, WEEZY… FIRE YOUR PR TEAM.
