The Monique Show–Atlanta
On Monday, October 5th, 2009, BET debuted its new highly anticipated late-night talk show, “The Monique Show”. Hosted by the fellow queen of comedy herself, Monique. The show airs on weekdays at 11 pm on BET.
Monique is an excellent host. For the hour that she is on television, Monique charismatically eases her viewers into a comfortable yet elevated mind state, encouraging all to release the tiresome load and pressures of the day. Life’s demands, for the viewers, are mandatorily put on hold. “Get glad”, she tells America. “You can’t watch this show mad, it just doesn’t feel right!”
Monique gives great energy from beginning to end with her high enthusiasm, live band, and classy plus-size dancers. According to Nielsen Media Research, 1.5 million people tuned in to the premiere. The Monique Show has now been rated as BET’s top show of the season, GO MO!!!!!
